When I was a young 18-year-old man, I met a mature woman, 30 or so, who described the sensuous love of sensuous acts of love.

If these are treated as mechanical acts then they are just as enjoyable as repairing a John Deer tractor, and similar necessary and not terrible mechanical chores.

Making love with such a mechanical person is as unpleasant as screwing a lawyer, or worse, an engineer.

Why? Because of a lack of empathy, a disability to focus on another’s pleasure and to derive pleasure from it.

No one wants to be treated like a chore existing only for another’s mechanical use. Screwing, is a mechanical term, after all. porn versus Eroticism, advertising versus Fine Art.

Civilization at its best is both erotic and sensuous.
