I was thinking yesterday as I drove in my old neighbourhood feeling lost and lonely that this is what the narcissist wants me to feel. They want my attention forever, living in my head. That’s why nothing is ever resolved or finished with these creatures. Stalkers of my mind and emotions.

I remember Gestalt psychology encounter groups in the 70’s were all about finishing unfinished business.

So a narcissist personality from the past would enter my mind as I drove past the scene of the crime and I simply said: that’s resolved, this is finished. I gave myself the gift of completion, a self love. Writing off the emotionally bankrupt, cutting my losses and walking away.
