This feels very similar to when I walked away from religion and the yoga cult I was sucked into by pedators.

Financial organizations seek vulnerable people to prey upon with large interest rates as their reward. I was charmed and wooed and seduced then rewarded with 34% interest rates to solve my financial current crisis du jour, anything to avoid ruining my credit.

I feel alone (I have me) abandoned (I have me) used and manipulated, ripped off. Angry at being sucked in like any relationship where I discovered dishonesty and experienced being (I was) used and nothing more than vulnerable prey.

So starting over and acquiring cash as my new friend, a nicer friend. Now, I have a life where I don’t have to seek approval to make a purchase, as I am not a child or a slave. I can and do sleep in on Sunday, not being the slightest bit concerned about what the congregation thinks of me or the financial institutions, or my credit rating. My pensions are guaranteed and cannot be garnished

A prey cowers in fear. A predator is aggressive. A human accepts unconditionally and is neither a religionist nor a nationalist, who lives a life based on evidence, frank conversation and willingness to compromise.
