I have a love hate relationship with the internet.
But it brought me conversation with others on a global scale, access to mental health resources and instant art spanning centuries.
I talk to folks around the globe, reading their minds like a book, I am seeing their thoughts that they choose to share.
The usual conditions for acceptance are removed, the only one remaining is my level of satisfaction with the experience, and this teaches me to have a satisfactory life.
OK, so then Facebook and its ilk comes along and replaces global wonder with conditions of nationalism, for example, replacing exploring global cultures with the paranoia of the Bronze Age village living in fear of outsiders coming to steal the crops and rape the women.
I walk away from these echo chamber algorithms of hate wandering the globe.
